Dale & Deb Fife purchased the Four Corners in the spring of 2013. They owned and operated two restaurants in Alaska from 1989 - 2008 when Deb suffered a stroke during abdominal surgery. Dale's background is in engineering and physics. He was a publicly elected Mayor in Alaska and Deb was an Emergency Medical Technician. Both had full time day jobs while operating their businesses and volunteering in their community. Bailey is shown with Deb - he is a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel from Oregon - they are bred to be companion dogs for handicapped individuals

What we are seeking and why:
We are seeking $75,000 to complete the remodel of the Four Corners. The funds will be used to replace the commercial septic system that the State has required of us prior to opening. Equipment needs to be replaced in the kitchen as well as new refrigeration systems. New flooring is required throughout the building as well as replacing the skirting on the outside of the building. The fuel tanks and pumps need to be inspected and tested for compliance. The remaining funds will be used to purchase start-up inventory and supplies as well as initial utilities costs for the first month or so.
In exchange for helping us get the Four Corners open and running we intend to offer contributors a series of customer loyalty perks described below. And of course one obvious fact is that folks will be able to once again have an opportunity to gather, eat and purchase necessities closer to home in a family atmosphere. We know there is tremendous interest in bringing the Four Corners back to life. We are doing our best to make it happen.
If we don't reach our entire goal we are hopeful we will acquire enough to get the cafe and store back in operation. In that event we will continue to look at ways to get fuel sales available once again. We are currently looking at options for franchised fuel sales and/or licensing to a branded fuel company.
